Grid-game guide

Mines

Mines uses a grid of hidden safe tiles and mines. Before a round, the player normally chooses a stake and a mine count, then reveals tiles one at a time. Each safe reveal increases the displayed return; revealing a mine ends the active round.

The central decision is when to cash out after safe tiles have been revealed. Grid size, mine count, and controls can vary by version, so check the game panel you have opened.

What changes with the mine count

More mines leave fewer safe tiles on the grid, while fewer mines leave more safe tiles. The displayed multiplier and probability information should be checked in the current version rather than estimated from an earlier round.

Choose settings

Confirm the grid, mine count, stake, and any automatic cash-out control before revealing a tile.

Reveal or cash out

After a safe reveal, the player can normally choose another tile or settle the round at the displayed value.

Mine result

Revealing a mine ends the active round. Previous safe positions do not make another tile safer in a new round.

Do not treat a grid as a pattern

A sequence of safe tiles is not a map for a later round, and a prior mine position does not predict a future one. Set a time and spending limit before playing and do not increase the mine count or stake merely to recover a result.

Mines FAQ

What ends an active Mines round?

Revealing a mine ends the active round; cashing out after safe tiles settles it at the displayed value.

Does a previous grid predict the next grid?

No. Previous tile positions are completed results and do not make a future tile safe or unsafe.

What should I check before a round?

Check the stake, mine count, grid controls, cash-out option, and your own session limit.
