Plinko: Rows, Risk Settings and Multipliers
Online Plinko uses a peg board shaped like a pyramid. After a ball is dropped, it bounces through the pins and lands in one of the multiplier buckets at the bottom. The bucket reached determines the result for that drop.
Many versions allow you to select the stake, number of rows, and a low, medium, or high risk setting. These options change the displayed multiplier layout; they do not make any landing position predictable.
What happens in a Plinko drop
First, choose the settings made available by the game. Then place a drop. The ball travels through the pins and finishes in a bottom bucket with a multiplier. The exact bucket values, the number of available rows, and the possible settings are controlled by the game version you are using.

More rows create a longer peg path and usually add more buckets at the bottom of the board.
Risk level
Risk settings change how the multipliers are distributed across the buckets. High-risk layouts may show wider swings.

The result is based on the bucket shown at the end of that particular drop, not on earlier drops.

Before playing, look at the multiplier labels beneath the board. Some buckets can display a value below 1x, which means the returned amount is lower than the amount used for the drop. Do not assume that a large multiplier at the edge is likely simply because it is visible on screen.
