Teen Patti Hand Rankings
Teen Patti compares three-card hands. In the common ranking order, a higher category beats any lower category. Learn that order before a show, then check the table's own rule for ties, ace order, and special variants.
Common order, highest first
Trail is three cards of the same rank, such as three sevens. Next is a pure sequence, three consecutive cards in the same suit. A sequence is three consecutive cards in mixed suits, followed by colour, three cards of the same suit that are not consecutive. A pair beats a high card.
Compare categories before card ranks
First identify the category. Only when both players have the same category do card ranks and kickers matter. For example, any sequence beats any colour, even if the colour contains an ace. This is why memorising the category order is more useful than focusing on a single high card.
Ace and tie rules can vary
Some tables recognise A-2-3 and A-K-Q as valid sequences; others set a different order. A game may also define how equal pairs, equal colours, or equal high cards are resolved. Open the table rule before relying on an example from another app or a home-game variation.
Use the order at the right moment
Do not request a show only because a hand looks visually strong. Check the stake, the show condition, and the ranking first. If the table has a special mode such as a low-hand or joker variation, the usual order may change completely.
